Central Florida Aquatic Cleanup Day

Description

joining the cleanup is easy! Volunteers with boats will pick up trash and debris in our lakes and canals, while volunteers on foot will clean up the boat ramps and shorelines.

Recommended supplies and reminders:

• 3 or 5-gallon buckets

• Reusable gloves

• Trash pick-up device

• Reusable water bottles to stay hydrated

• Don’t forget to wear comfortable shoes, a hat and sunscreen.

Can’t make it on Saturday? You can still participate in Coastal Cleanup Day! Clean up your local area year-round. Trash left in neighborhoods will eventually make its way to our lakes, so cleaning up the streets will also help prevent marine debris.
